Beauty & Beast - 13 & UpThe Artist's Soleby: DaVinci_girlPosted: Sat, Feb 27, 2010I took a pair of plain white sneakers and tie dyed them. Before they were dry I blended some tee juice into them to give them an extra splash of color. I was going to put a design on them but couldn't decide what would look good on them I think they still look pretty cool anyways :) |
1st Place : 13 & UpLiving, Formally.by: AthenaPosted: Tue, Aug 11, 2009I had this idea in my head for a while.... Thought it would look good on a T-shirt! Made with fine point, black TeeJuice markers. |

3rd Place : 13 & UpObon Festival Fishby: jen93940Posted: Thu, Jul 09, 2009I used a combination of traditional tie dye techniques, along with wetting the cloth, holding it in a tight bundle then squeezing the broad tip pen on the top. After the coloring was put on, I then poured water over the deeper coloring. I drew the fish on and then set the ink. After it was set, I then added the color to the fish to prevent bleeding of the black into the lighter color of the fish. This was created for the Japanese holiday called the Obon Festival, which is celebrated every July to honor ancestors and friends that have passed. |

1st Place : 12 & UnderFlower Apronby: godisharleyPosted: Wed, Sep 16, 2009First I had to draw my design, then transfer it to my apron. I used both broad and fine points to color it in. Then I ironed it! |
